What does Limmud FSU Australia feature?

Limmud FSU Australia features presenters from all over the world, lectures, workshops, panel discussions, interviews, and children’s programs.  

What does the festival cover?

  • Your stay at the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific
  • Gala dinner on Saturday night
  • Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea on Sunday
  • All programs + activities + night entertainment
The festival runs from the evening of Saturday 17th until the evening Sunday 18th September with one night of accommodation included.
If you are registering as an individual and have roommate preferences, you can indicate this request in the relevant section and we will endeavour to accommodate you. If no preference for a roommate is selected, our team will assign a roommate for you. 
If you are registering with family members, or in groups, our team will accommodate you in the same room.

During the event, all meals provide are Kosher and supplied by high-quality caterer, Mila’s Catering. We will endeavor to cater for special dietary requirements, so we ask that you specify any such requests in the relevant section of the registration.

Novotel  Manly Pacific is equipped with a fully licensed bar. The festival is not a BYO event with all alcohol supplied by the venue at a cost to the participant. 


Can I get transportation to Novotel Sydney Manly pacific?


We offer transportation to and from the venue at an additional cost of $30 per person return. There will be two pick-up locations nominated (more information will be available soon).

If you require bus transportation, please ensure you select this option in the payment details, and we will get back to you with the departure location details.


Note: If you decide to drive to the venue, there will be sufficient room to leave your car for the duration of the festival.

Parking in Manly
Manly Council has four car parks available 7 days a week, offering a variety of hours. Two car parks are in Central Avenue, one in Whistler Street and the other inWentworth Street.
Pre-paid parking is available for people who work in Manly, in all council carparks - Subject to availability.

Who can attend limmud fsu australia?

Everyone is welcome! The program is suitable for participants of all ages and cultural backgrounds, interested in Jewish-Russian history, culture, education.  All Limmud FSU Participants must be over the age of 18 years old, unless attending with a guardian.

Are kids welcome?

Kids and families are most welcome at Limmud FSU Australia!! We have even included programs specially designed to engage your kids, while you enjoy your time relaxing, learning, and engaging.

What languages are the sessions provided in?

The programs will be provided in English or/and in Russian.

How can i become a volunteer?

Limmud program is traditionally run by volunteers. Volunteers are people who choose to get involved in the community life and are looking for ways to enrich it. These are people who care.

What do volunteers do:

  • They organise the event
  • put together the program
  • invite and look after the presenters
  • guide guests of the Limmud FSU
  • create a special environment for all participants
  • during the event volunteers are asked to give 4 hours of their time

If you wish to register as a volunteer, please indicate so in the Registration. You might be entitled a special volunteer discount.

Information for presenter:

All conference rooms are set-up with projectors, screens and chairs. The venue has a wireless internet connection should presentations require one. If you have any specific requirements for your presentation, please let us know in the registration and we will aim to accommodate your needs.
Upon check-in, all participants will be provided with notepads and writing equipment.

registration entitlements:

Limmud FSU registration includes a single nights accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), entry to all sessions and a welcome pack.


Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to secure your place on the retreat. We accept the following methods of payments:

  • MasterCard, Visa and American Express (2.5% surcharge)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Payments will be processed via Sticky Tickets. All prices include ticketing surcharge.

Cancellation and refund policy

As we have agreements in place with the venue, unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for cancellations made after 1 July 2016.
